This is a 3 page comprehension template addressing the common core reading standards for second grade informational text; integration of knowledge and ideas. The emphasis is on integrating illustrations, maps and diagrams with the text. Students must also identify the author’s purpose and reasoning. Common Core: ELA: RI.2.7-9
