Yes, abcteach uses Cybersource and PayPal – both secure sites – to process all credit card payments. Q: What is the CVV number requested when paying by credit card?
The CVV number is a 3- or 4-digit verification number printed on the back of your credit card. These numbers are not any part of your credit card number. When paying by credit card, this number helps us be sure that only the person who physically has your credit card can make the purchase. The CVV number is required to make a credit card purchase of an abcteach membership. This ensures a secure payment form.

They are addressed in the order they are received. If your suggestion is accepted, it will appear in a future edition of the Member Newsletter. Q: What if I can't log in using my username and password?
- Your username or password may have been entered incorrectly. To correct this problem, try retyping your login information carefully. Make sure you haven’t saved an incorrect username or password to your browser.
- You may be using either the wrong password or username. You can recover your account information by filling out this form.
Q: What if the login window does not show up for me to enter my information?
If you are not getting the login box at all, then you may have a security filter on your computer blocking this function. The filter could be a firewall set very high, an internet speed booster or power booster, an internet accelerator, or something else that is bypassing the login page altogether. Adjustments need to be made to these settings. These settings may be different for each computer and internet provider. If you are using a school computer, you should contact your school’s IT Department.
Lowering your security settings to the “medium-level” will often take care of this problem.
Please contact technical support if the problem continues.
Q: Why can't I log in even though I'm entering the correct login information?
The username and password work as a team. If you make a typo in your username or you don’t enter the right info, the password won’t work. The username has to match the password that was assigned to it and they both have to match what is on your account.
Your username is usually your entire email address.
Try logging in again. If you are still not successful, you may have saved a typo.
It’s best that you start from scratch and erase everything in the login box. Erase both the username and password lines so they are blank, and put a checkmark in the small box next to the words “remember me.” Retype the username and password carefully. Now log in!
You should see the Member Dashboard upon login.
Q: When I print some documents, they don't fit properly on the page. How do I fix this?
When you are ready to print, you may need to select “Fit Page to Margins” or “Fit to Paper” on your printer’s dialog window.
When your printer’s dialog window appears, look to the bottom-left side of the window. You should see the words: “Page Handling” and within that section, you should see a dropdown menu with the words “Page Scaling”. The words in that box may also read “None”. Click the arrow of the dropdown menu to select the “Fit to Printer Margins” or “Fit to Paper” setting.
There should also be a checkmark in the “Auto-Rotate and Center” box just below “Page Scaling”. This should fix the problem. Once you change these settings, they should be saved for future printing jobs. Even so, the next few times you print word searches, clip art, or any of your abctools creations, please ensure that your print settings are correct.
If you continue to have problems after using this help session, contact support.
Q: Why can I view documents without any problems, but when I try to print them, I only get a blank page?
If you can view abcteach documents without any problems, but have trouble printing them, most likely you are having a problem with your printer.
Follow these directions exactly because the order of operations is important.
- Close all open programs on your computer and turn off your computer and your printer for five minutes. Let’s see if it is a driver error problem.
- When the five minutes is over, turn on the computer first, followed immediately by turning on the printer. Note: It’s very important that both the computer and the printer start together. Shutting down both units dumps the old printer junk and resets the drivers to the computer.
- When the computer is finished loading, try printing another document (just one page).
If you are still having problems after that, email abcteach support. We will have to get some additional information from you before we can address this problem. Let us know what type of Operating System you have (ie: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Mac OS X or something else).
Q: What happens if I didn't get my password after completing my abcteach membership payment?
Q: What do I do if I forgot my password?
Q: What do I do if I requested a password reminder but didn't receive an email?
If you have requested a password reminder and did not receive it, there are a few reasons this could happen:
- The email address on your account may not be up to date. The email address on your account is where the password reminder will be sent.
- You may have an email filter or security software that is blocking the password reminder from reaching you. Please check your spam or junk mail.
- Your email mailbox may be over quota.
Please contact abcteach support and include your full name and phone number so we can help retrieve your password information.
Q: When I get a newsletter from abcteach, there is no text attached. Do I need to do something special to read your messages?
Q: How do I reach technical support?
You can reach abcteach technical support 24 hours a day by emailing us. Please include your name and phone number in the event we have trouble reaching you by email.
