Story Sequence: Meteor Shower (elem/upper elem) "Blaise loves meteor showers." Read the story, then number the events as they occur in the story. Write the story again in your own handwriting and draw a picture to go with the text. Writing Prompts: My Journal - August (elementary) 16 fun prompts for holidays and other special occasions in August, with lines to write and space to draw. Art: All About Me Collage This "All About Me" page can be filled in with drawings, words, or magazine clippings. It's a fun way for students to tell others about themselves. A nice first day activity. Art: Design an "All About Me" Stamp Students will have fun designing their own personalized stamp that reflects their interests. Border Paper: School Bells and Apples (blank inside) A blackline border paper that looks great printed on colored paper. Use for announcements, letters home, poetry border paper, and more.
